Nancy Pastor has worked in Editorial photography for more than 15 years. She began her career as a staff photographer for the Washington Times in Washington DC, and is presently a freelance photographer based in Los Angeles. Prior to working behind the lens, she worked behind the scenes as a fashion stylist, insuring the clothes, props and set were camera ready. Since transitioning to Los Angeles - Nancy has broadened her experience by quickly adapting to set and production photography, utilizing her documentary experience as a photojournalist.
Nancy's documentary projects have garnered many awards, including, Pictures of the Year International (POYi), National Press Photographers Association (NPPA), White House News Photography Association (WHNPA) and a finalist in the W. Eugene Smith Grant award in Humanistic Photography.
She lives a mile from the sand enjoying all that sunny California has to offer with her husband, daughter and pup Agnes.
