Louise Kurtz, a survivor of the attack on the Pentagon, received burns on 70 percent of her body, she is photographed in her Spotsylvania, Va. home. Monday August 7, 2006 ( Nancy Pastor / The Washington Times )
Thrilled to be a part of the August Issue of Los Angeles Magazine, celebrating the many different cultures that make up LA. Photographing the Muslim and Sikh community in this day and age, was not only challenging but rewarding. The Muslim service I scheduled to photograph, unfortunately fell on the same day as the Orlando night club shooting, with a deadline looming, I had no choice but to move forward and hope that the community was welcoming. It was. Thanks to Photo Editor: Amy Feitelberg
Another year of dapper dads with their sweet daughters!!!
Thanks St. Olaf Magazine for a nice tear sheet from a piece written about Women in Science alumni.
